    Short Breaks: Barcelona & Alcalá de Henares

    For a short break full of culture and shopping, Evenia Rosselló puts you steps from Casa Batlló and Passeig de Gràcia — browse the boutiques, take in Gaudí's Park Güell and Casa Milà, or head to La Roca Village outlet on the edge of the city. Stay in and the hotel's own Restaurant l'Illa de Rosselló serves market-style cooking, or book a table at one of the city's bigger names, like ABaC or Disfrutar.

    If you're after something a little different, Evenia Alcalá Boutique is worth the detour. Alcalá de Henares is a UNESCO World Heritage city just outside Madrid — the birthplace of Cervantes and home to one of Europe's oldest universities — and the hotel itself occupies a historic former coaching inn right in the old town, close to the city's best restaurants. It's an easy short break on its own, or an interesting add-on if you're already heading to Madrid.
